This policy explains what data AutoCore AI collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep this short and plain because that's how it should be.

1. Who we are

AutoCore AI (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for any personal data collected through this site. You can reach us at AutoCoreAI@pm.me for any data-related question.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you give us, when you give it to us:

• Booking form: name, email, business name, and any context you add about your operation. Submitted through Formspree, sent to us by email.
• Email correspondence: if you write to us, the content of that email and the address it came from.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-term request logs (IP address, browser, page accessed) for security and uptime purposes. We do not use these for tracking.

We do not set advertising cookies, run third-party trackers, or sell your data. There is no analytics layer on this site at the time of writing.

3. Why we process it

• To respond to you when you book an audit or contact us — that is the entire reason the form exists.
• To deliver the service if we go on to work together (audit, automation projects, retainer).
• To meet legal obligations (invoicing, tax records, where required).

The lawful basis is your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in running the business and answering enquiries.

4. Who sees your data

Your data is processed by us and a small number of service providers acting on our behalf:

• Formspree — handles form submissions and forwards them to our inbox.
• Vercel — hosts this website.
• Proton Mail — our email provider.
• Google Fonts — serves the typeface; may log your IP at request time.

We do not share your data with any other third party unless required by law.

5. How long we keep it

• Booking enquiries that don't convert: deleted within 12 months.
• Active client records: kept for the length of the engagement plus 6 years for accounting purposes.
• Email correspondence: kept as long as it is operationally relevant.

6. Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or another GDPR-aligned jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold on you (access).
• Have it corrected if it is wrong.
• Have it deleted (right to be forgotten).
• Restrict or object to how we process it.
• Receive a portable copy of it.
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

7. International transfers

Some of our processors (Vercel, Formspree) are based outside the EU/UK. Where this applies, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

8. Security

We use HTTPS across the entire site, store data only on reputable platforms with their own security guarantees, and limit access to people who need it. No system is bulletproof, but we take it seriously.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we update the “last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify clients directly.
